Errands 指的是 短的行程 , 如要去寄信, 又要去买东西, 又要去领钱, 就是 run some errands, 或是 do some errands.
有一个字跟 run some errands 很像, 就是 chore 这个字, 指的就是家务, 杂务. 例如, After I finished chores. I sat down and had a cup of coffee.
曾经在广播上听到一句很感性的句子, 那是在母亲节的时候吧, 主持人说, I have to thank my mom. She spends her whole life taking care of her children and running errands . 就是说我的母亲终其一生都在为了照顾她的小孩和为了一些杂务在奔波.
